Born in the Auguszt family is not a privilege, but a responsibility: even the tiniest family members are part of the work – the can have a very firsthand experience in the kitchen during their childhood.
The fifth generation is represented by three people: the adult Oliver from József’s previous marriage, and two daughters with Ibolya, Apollónia Anna and Antónia Abigél.
Oliver, just like his father spent years abroad to study, and dedicated himself to arts at first. Then continuing his film career he found stability for starting a family in a hotel in the „Káli-Medence” region, where beyond excellent food and rooms guests can also enjoy a film club and a contemporary exhibition place. He is the father of a boy, who carries on the traditional initials of the family: E and J (elemér and József). He’s Edvárd Jonatán.
Apollónia Anna and Antónia Abigél are still in high school, but they spend a lot of time in the Fény Street confectionery led by their parents. They like to help in service.
It’s a bit too soon to predict who’s going to take the leading of the shop, but all the three of them are glad to have the name Auguszt, and they are very proud of what their ancestors did for the Hungarian confectionery culture in the past 150 years.
