Traditional Hungarian cakes represent a special value and are part of our rich gastronomical culture. In our confectionary we work on these pieces of art, using old technologies. We use the finest ingredients with no additives or artificial colouring. We always have Dobos, Deák, Spanish Almond, Black Forest, Russian or Marzipan cakes just to mention a few of our most popular products, and our own creations as the Rozalinda or the E80 cakes are just as looked after. In the Auguszt family there is a tradition, every year we surprise the oldest member on his birthday with a new cake creation. When Elemér Auguszt turned eighty years old, his son József Auguszt created a special marzipan and chocolate cake with coffee swirls and almonds, and the expert father was so pleased with the creation that this cake is now a signature product in our confectionary. The E80 cake’s flavour did not only meet the expectations of the birthday boy, it is very popular among our customers ever since. A family speciality that can only be tasted in its original form at our shop.
