Exhibition opening in Fény street
Auguszt confectionery celebrates its 150th anniversary in a worthy way. We remember our ascendants, the first three generations of the dynasty with an exhibition that shows the history of the family.
To compile the collection of the exhibition, we got an essential help from the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism, and the head of the institution opened the exhibition himself. Part of the program was a special storytelling from József Auguszt about the history of the family, and Ibolya talking about the new desserts. Károly Mécs, the great actor read some pages of „Az igazi” written by Sándor Márai, that is about the period Auguszt, also called as the „Buda Gerbeaud”. The conversation was led by Olga Szederkényi, journalist.
The representatives of the fifth generation weren’t missing either. Olivér, Apollónia and Abigél was there, too, not to mention Olivér’s 8 months old son, Edvárd, the first member of the 6th generation.
The parents are celebrating the next generations with dessert plates made for this anniversary. The desserts are named just like the kids, and all of them contains each kid’s favorite fruit.
